All about our classes

Session Schedule

Montessori toys, montessori actvities, play-based learning, interactive baby class

Read, Play, Create class sessions last for 60 minutes. Each session is based around a book or nursery rhyme.

How each session runs:

Parents and children come into the class and take a seat in our reading area.
Short welcome and reading of this week's chosen book.
Parents and children will then have the opportunity to explore the sensory (possibly messy) trays all linked to the book.
Parents and children can then create an art piece based on the book that they can take home as a keep-sake.
Clean-up time for the children and parents can have a drink and a chat.

Arts & Crafts

Arts and crafts are essential for babies and toddlers as they foster creativity, fine motor skills, and cognitive development. Reading

Early reading and reading aloud to babies and toddlers are crucial for their cognitive and language development. Sensory Play

Sensory or messy play is vital for babies and toddlers as it supports their cognitive, physical, and emotional development. Through activities like touching, squeezing, and exploring different textures, children learn to process sensory information, which is essential for brain development.
